The ideal time to experience the waterfall is from April to October
If departing from Hanoi, travelers can choose a bus or personal vehicle to reach Moc Chau. The distance is about 180 km, and the average travel time is about 4 - 5 hours. For buses, people can board at My Dinh, Giap Bat, or Yen Nghia stations. Ticket prices range from 200,000 - 300,000 VND/person depending on the company.
If choosing a motorcycle or personal car, you will travel along National Highway 6, passing through the winding roads of Hoa Binh. Travelers can stop to rest at Thung Khe Pass. This is a place with a beautiful view to admire the Northwest mountains before continuing the journey to Moc Chau town.

Traveling from Moc Chau to the waterfall
From the center of Moc Chau town, Dai Yem Waterfall is about 10-15 km southeast, nestled among Ban Vat, Muong Sang commune. The road leading to the waterfall follows National Highway 43 towards the Long Sap border gate, winding through lush green hills.
When you reach the Pa Hang intersection, turn into a small road leading directly to Ban Vat. Just about 4km further, you will encounter the clear stream flowing gently, leading to Dai Yem Waterfall appearing amidst the majestic and poetic Northwest mountain landscape.
