If traveling from Tuy Hoa city, tourists will have 2 routes to reach Mui Dien Phu Yen as follows:
If starting from Nha Trang city, you will take the Ca Pass road, and when you see the sign directing to Mui Dien, turn right, continue through Vung Ro Bay until you reach the No Number Ship Historical Site. Upon arriving at Mui Dien, tourists can park their vehicles right at the foot of the mountain, at a local shop near the ticket booth.
Overview of Mui Dien Lighthouse Architecture
Mui Dien Lighthouse features unique architecture with a base area of about 300m2 located at the top of the mountain, resembling an ancient church amidst pristine nature. The lighthouse tower is circular, with a base diameter of 4.5m, standing 100m above sea level and 26.5m above the ground. The tower's shape tapers as it rises, with solar panels installed at the top, casting light up to 27 nautical miles.
Inside the lighthouse is a wooden spiral staircase with over 100 steps, wide enough for two people to pass each other. The top of the tower offers a panoramic view of the mountains, sea, and sky of Phu Yen's coastline.
