Bac Le Temple is part of a complex of relics located on a hill in Bac Le village of Tan Thanh commune, Huu Lung district, Lang Son province. This ancient temple was built around the 16th - 17th century. It is dedicated to Mau Thuong Ngan, the Four Palaces, and the spirits, and is considered one of the few most sacred temples today.

From below, you ascend to the magnificent entrance gate with exquisite carvings. Next, on the left side, there is the Chau Be Bac Le shrine featuring statues of Bac Le Boy, Bac Le Girl, and Chau Be. Visitors coming to worship Mau Thuong Ngan must stop at this shrine to ask for blessings before proceeding to the main temple.
After passing the Chau Be shrine, visitors will continue up the stairs to reach the main temple. The Bac Le Cong Dong Temple is built in the style of the Dinh character with an ancient and majestic inner sanctum and front worship area. The main hall consists of a row of three sturdy wooden pillars and is built with tiles covering an area of about 125m2.

The roof of the temple is designed in the style of "Long trieu luong nghi", symbolizing heaven and earth, yin and yang. When yin and yang are in harmony, it leads to the flourishing of all things, bringing favorable weather. The area above the offering hall features a plaque inscribed with "Hung Tien Hien Tu".
